Here is what happened:
Bradley Cooper’s mom Gloria Campano will be his date to the Oscars, where he is nominated for three awards for his Leonard Bernstein biopic Maestro. Cooper mentioned, “100 percent. There’s no question, she’s coming,” Bradley told E! News at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. He also expressed that he is thrilled to bring her because she gives her honest opinion of people and is an amazing hang.
At the 2024 Oscars, Maestro is up for seven awards, with Cooper himself earning three nominations: Best Lead Actor, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Picture. Gloria has often accompanied Bradley during major events over the years, making her Oscars debut back in 2013 when he was nominated for his role in Silver Linings Playbook. She has also been by her son’s side at the Oscars in 2019 and 2022.
In addition to the Oscars, Gloria has joined Bradley for other star-studded events. In January, she was his date to the Golden Globe awards. The Maestro star has celebrated his two Golden Globe nominations with mom Gloria Campano by his side. He’s brought his mother to several award shows over the years, including the Oscars, SAG Awards, and Tony Awards. The 2024 Oscars isn’t the only star-studded occasion Gloria joined Bradley for.
