Halle Bailey has officially embraced motherhood, welcoming her first child, a baby boy named Halo, with her boyfriend DDG as revealed in an Instagram post on January 6th. The couple first sparked romance rumors in January 2022, and soon went public with their love story, despite their age difference of two years. Halle, 23, and DDG, 25, went Instagram official in March 2022, in honor of her 22nd birthday.
The actress also mentioned that she has been a fan of the rapper for years, and she feels that DDG has been the real-life Prince Charming to her Ariel. According to her, the best thing about young love is that you’re able to continue to find yourself through this journey of loving somebody else. Furthermore, she mentioned how her relationship with DDG has transformed her as a woman.
Although the couple endured a difficult period in July when DDG released a song called “Famous” that seemingly revealed tension and insecurities in the relationship when Halle held hands with her co-star at a red carpet event, they appear to be as strong as ever. DDG’s tweets in September suggest that he believes life can change in a few months and that he feels unstoppable in pursuing his blessings.
