Here is what happened:
Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith have reached a temporary custody agreement over their 3-year-old daughter, after Jodie filed for divorce in October. According to court documents, Joshua responded to the petition by agreeing to joint physical and legal custody of their daughter, with no child support being paid. The couple filed for divorce after four years of marriage, with Jodie citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the breakup and listing September 13 as the date of their separation. However, Joshua lists the date of separation as September 30 in his response.
Neither Joshua nor Jodie have publicly commented on their split. Jodie recently shared her appreciation for the constant presence of art and the artist, as well her gratitude for her loved ones in the wake of her breakup with Joshua. The former couple has shared several red-carpet appearances together, including the 2020 BAFTA Awards, the 2022 Critics Choice Awards, and the infamous red steps at the 2022 Met Gala.
Additionally, they made sure to match each other perfectly at events such as the British Vogue and Tiffany & Co. Celebrate Fashion and Film Party in February 2023, and they turned heads while attending the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. Most recently, just weeks before their split, they attended the unveiling of the new fully-electric Lotus Emeya on September 7 in New York City.
