According to a domestic relations injunction obtained by NBC News, Kevin filed for divorce from the parent vlogger, and while divorce records are private in the state, both spouses are prohibited from harassing each other and disparaging the other in front of their kids. This marks a continuation of their breakup, as it was revealed in September that the couple had been living separately for over a year. Kevin’s lawyer has defended his parenting, maintaining that he is a “good person” and has never been accused of physically abusing the kids or anyone else.
Additionally, Ruby and her business partner, Jodi Hildebrandt, were arrested in August after a law enforcement official discovered Ruby’s 12-year-old son emaciated with open wounds and duct tape on his wrists and ankles. This discovery led to Ruby and Jodi being charged with six counts of felony child abuse, which carries a sentence of up to 15 years in prison and a $10,000 fine for each count. As a result of these charges, the influencer’s four minor children were placed under the care of Utah’s Division of Child and Family Services.
